1. Introduction

This Return & Replacement Policy (“Policy”) governs the process by which buyers (“you”) may request returns or replacements for products purchased through ExpoImpoHub.com (“Platform”, “we”, “our”). By using the Platform, you agree to comply with this Policy in addition to the Buyer and Seller Terms & Conditions.

 

2. Scope

  • Applies to all transactions conducted through ExpoImpoHub.com.
  • Covers defective, damaged, incorrect, or non-compliant products.
  • Excludes products explicitly marked as non-returnable by sellers (e.g., perishable goods, customized items, clearance stock).

 

3. Buyer Eligibility for Return/Replacement

A buyer may request a return or replacement if:

  • The product is defective or damaged upon delivery.
  • The product delivered is different from the order placed (wrong item, wrong quantity, wrong specifications).
  • The product does not meet agreed quality standards or certifications.
  • The product is non-compliant with import regulations or misrepresented in the listing.

 

4. Timeframe for Requests

  • Buyers must raise a return or replacement request within 7 calendar days of delivery.
  • Requests submitted after this period may not be eligible unless exceptional circumstances are proven.

 

5. Process for Returns & Replacements

 1. Initiation

    • Buyer submits a request via ExpoImpoHub’s dispute resolution system, including order details, reason, and supporting evidence (photos, documents).

2. Verification

    • ExpoImpoHub reviews the request and forwards it to the seller for response.
    • Sellers must respond within 5 business days.

3. Resolution

  • If approved, seller arranges return shipping or replacement dispatch.
  • If rejected, ExpoImpoHub may mediate further based on evidence provided.

 

6. Shipping & Costs

  • Defective/Damaged/Incorrect Items: Seller bears return shipping and replacement costs.
  • Buyer’s Change of Mind: Not eligible unless seller explicitly allows; buyer bears all costs.
  • International Returns: Buyers must comply with customs documentation; sellers must assist with re-import/export paperwork.

 

7. Refunds

  • Refunds are processed only after the seller confirms receipt of returned goods.
  • Refunds must be issued within 10 business days of return confirmation.
  • Refunds are made via the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.

 

8. Replacement Terms

  • Sellers must dispatch replacement products within 10 business days of approval.
  • Replacement must be of equal or higher quality than the original order.
  • If replacement is not possible, a full refund must be issued.

 

9. ExpoImpoHub’s Role

  • ExpoImpoHub acts as a neutral facilitator in disputes.
  • We do not guarantee product quality or enforce refunds but provide mediation support.
  • ExpoImpoHub may suspend sellers who repeatedly fail to honor return/replacement obligations.

 

10. Exceptions

Returns and replacements are not applicable for:

  • Products damaged due to buyer mishandling after delivery.
  • Perishable, customized, or clearance items marked “non-returnable.”
  • Delays caused by customs clearance or buyer’s failure to provide necessary import documents.

 

11. Limitation of Liability

  • ExpoImpoHub is not liable for financial losses, customs penalties, or damages arising from disputes.
  • Our liability, if any, is limited to service fees paid to ExpoImpoHub for the disputed transaction.

 

12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

  • This Policy is governed by the laws of India (or the jurisdiction where ExpoImpoHub is registered).
  • Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Indore, India.

 

13. Amendments

  • ExpoImpoHub reserves the right to update or modify this Policy at any time.
  • Buyers and sellers will be notified of significant changes via email or platform announcements.
  • Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of updated Policy.
