1. Introduction

This Shipping & Logistics Policy (“Policy”) governs the responsibilities and procedures related to the shipment, delivery, and logistics of products purchased and sold through ExpoImpoHub.com (“Platform”, “we”, “our”). By using the Platform, both buyers and sellers agree to comply with this Policy in addition to the general Terms & Conditions.

 

2. Scope

  • Applies to all transactions conducted through ExpoImpoHub.com.
  • Covers domestic and international shipments facilitated via sellers and third-party logistics providers.
  • Defines responsibilities of buyers, sellers, and ExpoImpoHub in the shipping process.

 

3. Seller Responsibilities

  • Accurate Shipping Information: Sellers must provide clear shipping terms, including Incoterms, delivery timelines, and insurance coverage.
  • Packaging: Products must be securely packed to withstand transit and comply with international shipping standards.
  • Documentation: Sellers must provide all required export documents (invoice, packing list, certificates, customs declarations).
  • Carrier Selection: Sellers must use reliable logistics providers and share tracking details with buyers.
  • Compliance: Sellers must ensure shipments comply with applicable customs, safety, and trade regulations.

 

4. Buyer Responsibilities

  • Accurate Delivery Information: Buyers must provide correct shipping address, contact details, and import documentation.
  • Customs Clearance: Buyers are responsible for import duties, taxes, and compliance with local customs regulations unless otherwise agreed.
  • Inspection: Buyers must inspect goods upon delivery and report issues within 7 days.

Coordination: Buyers must cooperate with logistics providers for smooth delivery and clearance.

 

5. Shipping Terms

  • Incoterms: All shipments must follow internationally recognized Incoterms (e.g., FOB, CIF, DDP).
  • Delivery Timelines: Sellers must specify estimated delivery times; delays caused by customs or force majeure are exempt.
  • Insurance: Sellers must clarify whether shipments are insured; buyers may request additional coverage at their cost.
  • Tracking: Sellers must provide tracking numbers within 48 hours of dispatch.

 

6. Logistics Providers

  • Sellers may use their preferred logistics partners or ExpoImpoHub’s recommended providers.
  • ExpoImpoHub is not liable for delays, damages, or losses caused by third-party logistics providers.
  • Buyers and sellers must resolve logistics-related disputes directly with carriers, with ExpoImpoHub offering mediation support.

 

7. Damages & Losses

  • During Transit: Responsibility depends on agreed Incoterms.
  • Claims: Buyers must file claims within 7 days of delivery with supporting evidence.
  • Resolution: Sellers must cooperate with buyers and logistics providers to resolve claims.

 

8. Returns & Reverse Logistics

  • Return shipments must follow the Return & Replacement Policy.
  • Sellers must provide instructions for return packaging and documentation.
  • Costs of reverse logistics depend on the reason for return (seller fault vs. buyer preference).

 

9. ExpoImpoHub’s Role

  • Acts as a facilitator by providing tools for shipment tracking, documentation exchange, and dispute resolution.
  • Does not own or operate logistics services.
  • May suspend sellers who repeatedly fail to honor shipping commitments.

 

10. Exceptions

  • Delays due to customs clearance, natural disasters, strikes, or government restrictions are considered force majeure.
  • ExpoImpoHub is not liable for such delays but will assist in communication and resolution.

 

11. Limitation of Liability

  • ExpoImpoHub is not responsible for product damage, loss, or delays during transit.
  • Our liability, if any, is limited to service fees paid to ExpoImpoHub for the disputed transaction.

 

12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

  • This Policy is governed by the laws of India (or the jurisdiction where ExpoImpoHub is registered).
  • Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Indore, India.

 

13. Amendments

  • ExpoImpoHub reserves the right to update or modify this Policy at any time.
  • Buyers and sellers will be notified of significant changes via email or platform announcements.
  • Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of updated Policy.
